been the one making my enemy did that (in fact, I won with that strat just yesterday, making my enemy lacked 1 damage to lethal me), also been on the side having their board locked and unable to progress my gameplan.

happened a lot with sword especially nowadays, with their recent focus on Rally keyword (accumulating a certain amount of followers entering your board to activate strong effects), so it really fits that the anime made the boardlock victim to also be a sword player

whoever is directing this anime really understands the game. wouldn't surprise me if they have some actual SV players this time around among the staffs.

Nice episode. The way that Itsuki play was good and I liked it!

Itsuki's character potential could have been made more complex, by adding a sadness to him and making him similar to Yami Bakura from Yugioh, when feeling cornered. One of those multi-personality disorder type characters, and even make his cards scary and creepy when his personality changes.

Neat, This battle teach you boardlock. In shadowverse yes there is only 5 so it quite easy to do this in the mobile game as well

playing a lot of rally sword (both aggro and evo) since they are good in this expansion, I always cringe whenever the enemy intentionally not trading or make it so I can't trade off my 1 attack followers

although funnily enough even sword can do this too with Leod
